Birdhouse is an app for those that have some form of epilepsy. It allows its user(s) to keep up with the amount of seizures that they have. Basically, it is an online seizure diary. It is a great app to use. I have been using it and playing around with it. Even though my seizures are controlled right now, I have placed my past seizures on the app that I recorded in my seizure diary just to see what it was like. It’s similar to the My Epilepsy Seizure Diary from the Epilepsy Foundation website. You can track the seizure medications you are taking and the effects of each one, keep track of how you are feeling physically and mentally, keep track of your child or other loved ones with epilepsy, keep track of triggers, get support and guidance from those who are experiencing seizures or who have a loved one with it, record the type(s) of epilepsy or epilepsy syndrome(s) you or your loved one has, etc. The components of the app also apply to other medical conditions, such as autism and special needs children, adolescents, and adults.  It can definitely help you learn what triggers your form of epilepsy and how to avoid any future seizures. Some features of the app you will have to pay a small fee for monthly to unlock more advanced sections that you would like to utilize.

The Birdhouse App is available on Android and Apple devices. Thus, anyone can enjoy and use it.

In the meantime, check out the Birdhouse website HERE.
